How TOPMOTIVE successfully digitized and automated its accounting thanks to DYCE

The problem
TOPMOTIVE used a financial accounting system in combination with a self-developed ERP system which, as industry software, does an excellent job for garages, but could not fully cover the challenges of a growing IT company. The integration of new companies into the group, the growth across locations and the large number of existing customers with recurring invoices and quantity changes required a high level of coordination and manual processes.
There was therefore a need for action. They had a clear idea of what they wanted. “It was crucial for us that the individual adjustments in invoice creation and the processing of a large number of invoices worked quickly and smoothly,” explains Corinna Pape, CFO at TOPMOTIVE.
The solution
Replacing the ERP system, which was heavily customized to the needs of TOPMOTIVE, with the established industry solution of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in conjunction with DYCE apps from Singhammer was a major step for the owner-managed IT company at Bargteheide. The aim was to map all business processes in one system and digitize the accounting.
Singhammer was able to convince on a technical level and prove that the DYCE apps work excellently even under high workloads. Thanks to the honest discussion of problems and reservations, mutual trust has grown steadily since the initial contact in August 2022.

The result
Since January 2024, the new ERP has taken over the task of creating the majority of recurring invoices and digitizing and automating accounting processes, among other things.
“We are very satisfied with the rollout, especially our operations processes with the DYCE apps,” concludes Corinna Pape from TOPMOTIVE . “Where we used to need half a day, we now only need 20 minutes.”
