Send and review sales quotes and other documents at the touch of a button
Sales and purchasing departments want to be able to send documents such as sales quotes and purchase orders as simply as possible and also personalize them, while keeping an eye on the entire exchange. Yet the creation of documents and e-mailing often take place in separate systems. This is cumbersome and hard to view as a whole.
With SITE, you can send sales quotes, order confirmations and purchase orders as e-mail directly from the ERP system and keep track of the entire exchange. When you have created a document and click “Send E-Mail,” the system takes you directly to an e-mail form (Screenshot 1) that already contains important information such as the sender, the recipient and the subject. You can standardize or personalize this preliminary version to any degree you like using text templates and dynamic elements. The document is attached to the e-mail as a PDF.
All e-mails created in the ERP system, as well as attachments and memos (made for your own use from telephone conversations, for example), are collected in Information History. At the click of a mouse you can get a quick overview of the entire exchange regarding a sales quote, sales order or purchase order (Screenshot 2). You can also specify whether e-mails or memos are of strictly internal relevance. When you go on vacation, your substitute can take over with ease because all actions are stored in the system.
