Hardware prices in real time in our ERP system
Items, availabilities and prices for IT hardware have very short lifetimes. That means the sales and marketing departments of IT systems providers face a great challenge: they have to be able to create sales quotes and place orders that are both accurate and profitable.
ITscope provides current data from 370 distributors in a single unified format. After logging in on the ITscope homepage, customers can create their own shopping cart including special discounts. The advantage of SITE’s ITscope interface is that the data are available in the ERP system directly and in real time.
In the screenshots you can see how clicking on a dropdown menu when you are creating a sales quote will take you to a price overview.
If conditions change between the time a sales quote is created and the time the order is placed or an item is no longer offered – no problem. At the moment the order is placed and the purchase order is created, your sales and marketing department can use the ITscope interface to definitively verify availabilities and prices and respond to any discrepancies.
