From local IT system house to provider of international business software
Singhammer has been creating sustainable solutions for the IT industry since 1998. We are constantly refining our products and methods and in this way are able to respond to the pressing demands of the market.
How it all began…
The Munich IT systems provider Singhammer Datentechnik GmbH implemented the financial software Navision in-house and continued to adapt it so that it would mirror Singhammer’s own IT business processes efficiently. The solution also met the needs of other systems providers. So, in 1994, Singhammer began selling the system house solution SHL to others.
From SHL to SITE: functionality and know-how for the IT industry
1998: Singhammer IT Consulting is formed to refine, distribute and implement the system house solution SHL. Singhammer ensures that IT companies receive the consultation they need on the industry ERP system so that the implementation will optimize their processes. Singhammer continues to do this today.
2000: Foreign IT companies are also showing an interest in SHL, so the name is changed to SITE—Solution for IT Enterprises. For prospective SITE customers abroad, Real Soft AG in Switzerland—Singhammer’s first partner—takes charge of sales, implementation and on-site support.
2001: Following introduction of a four-language version of SITE for Switzerland, Singhammer partners from Sweden to Spain create the necessary localizations.
2002: Microsoft takes over Navision. Singhammer becomes a Microsoft Partner.
Scalable and intelligent: grow internationally with SITE
2004: With SITE’s multi-company version, Singhammer develops a solution for IT enterprises that are branching into multiple companies and want to continue sharing their resources. The first to benefit is VSA GmbH, which remains a satisfied Singhammer customer to this day.
2007: Singhammer creates a technology for SITE that allows master data and transaction data to be exchanged in a central system. In this way Nemetschek Allplan Organisation is able to implement SITE in Germany and six more countries simultaneously, each with its own database.
2008: Microsoft Navision becomes Microsoft Dynamics NAV. As of the new version Dynamics NAV 2009, SITE gets an addition to its name: SITE NAV.
2012: Singhammer develops SITE’s big brother, SITE AX. Now large international IT enterprises can also benefit from the industry-specific advantages of SITE.
Sign of excellence—Singhammer is one of the best
2004:Singhammer becomes one of the first Microsoft Partners to receive the “Certified Industry Solution“ commendation for SITE—a recognition of quality awarded to every new version of SITE, most recently in 2017 as CfMD: Certified for Microsoft Dynamics.
2010: Singhammer becomes Microsoft Partner Gold for Enterprise Resource Planning. It holds this distinction to this day.
2017:Singhammer’s leadership position is demonstrated in a “field test”. Singhammer’s customers are regularly among the top 10 “Best System Houses“ (sales category EUR 50–250 million) selected annually by Computerwoche and ChannelPartner. Six of the top 10 medium-sized system houses use SITE in 2017.
Tuned in to the IT world—in 2018 and in the future
In 2017 Singhammer adopted a new strategy and a new CI for the future: “make your world easy.” The focus is on user-friendliness and making your work easier as an IT company. With SITE Go, Singhammer makes it possible to implement SITE quickly and on a fixed budget—in addition to the classic and international solution.
In 2018 more and more IT companies are providing their services from the cloud based on usage. To deal with the complex contracts, Singhammer offers a simple solution in SITE 2017 R2.
