The initial situation
A highly customized CRM as business software reached its limits
The first meeting in 2018 was something special: the chemistry between easySoft and Singhammer was right from the start. The Baden-Württemberg-based company was shown the current version of SITE and was impressed by its technical depth and professional appearance - but initially postponed the replacement of their system.
Four years later, the time had come. The old, heavily customized CRM system at easySoft was no longer sufficient to meet the requirements of a modern and growing software company. easySoft turned to Singhammer again and was impressed by DYCE, the cloud-based app extensions to Business Central.

When the decision in favor of DYCE was made in November 2022, some apps were still in their infancy, but:
The existing range of functions already covered many essential requirements. And the system was based on state-of-the-art technology. However, we were particularly impressed by Singhammer's in-depth understanding of processes and the industry during the preparatory workshops."

The project started in January 2023 with an ambitious schedule, a clear budget limit and a high level of personal contribution from the customer. Singhammer adapted flexibly to these framework conditions. With a disciplined, experienced team on both sides, it was possible to implement the project in a targeted manner - despite all the complexity.
A best-of-breed approach was pursued, i.e. four systems for four areas were to be combined.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales was chosen as the CRM to complement the Microsoft ERP system Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC for short) and the DYCE apps. Everything from quotations to invoices was to be handled here. DATEV was the obvious choice for accounting anyway. The tried-and-tested ticket system Jira, which was already in use, was integrated as a project management tool.
The days of multifunctional monster solutions are over. And this shared perspective helped us in the project to implement functionalities where they created the most benefit."

The result
4 interlinked systems as the basis for company growth
Since September 2023, the teams at easySoft have been working in their respective specialist systems - with consistent, up-to-date data throughout the company. Error-prone duplicate maintenance is a thing of the past and information is available centrally. Contract management was particularly pleased with the increasing automation of processes. Not everything worked smoothly at the first attempt - fine-tuning was necessary at one point or another. However, this iterative process has helped to create a stable foundation on which easySoft can continuously build.

Even after the go-live, the project benefited from the open support culture at Singhammer: consultation hours, training and practical project support helped to quickly find "calm waters".

In 1994, Andreas Nau, a teacher and deputy head of a nursing school, had had enough of paper lists for training planning - and quickly developed a digital solution. Thus easySoft was born. Today, the Metzingen-based software company helps educational institutions and organizations to reduce their administrative workload in training management, seminar management and personnel development.
